I looked over the list of possible places to volunteer and I've decided on the Sunrise of Simi Hills Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. This will be a convenient location on my way home from work. I am more excited to work with the elderly, not only to help the community, but also to gain some useful experience. My minor is gerontology and I believe this experience will help me in the future.
